2012 Meeting: Human Rights & Anti-Corruption - 1st Regional Meeting of the South-East Europe Global Compact Local Networks

Global Compact Network Hellas is organising on Friday, February 3, 2012 at "The MET Hotel" in Thessaloniki, Greece, the 1st regional working meeting entitled: Human Rights and Anti-Corruption - "First Meeting of the South-East Europe Global Compact Local Networks", in order to identify the social and environmental challenges that the Global Compact Local Networks in South-East Europe are facing.

The objectives of the Meeting are to analyse in-depth, the UN Global Compact principles that are related to Human Rights and Anti-Corruption with parallel reference to practices implemented by companies of the Region, to share knowledge and experience between Networks and to explore ways of improving their communication and co-operation and to identify challenges faced by the communities in which the Networks operate and how these are best addressed.

Representatives from the Global Compact Local Networks of Greece, Bulgaria, Romania, Kosovo, Croatia, FYROM, Serbia and Turkey have already stated that they will participate. Also companies from the above countries are more than welcome to attend the event.
